The SDSC SHAR has released a job notification for Technician positions in 2023, with an online application available at https://apps.shar.gov.in/.

Important Dates

• Start Date for Apply Online - 26/04/2023
• Last Date for Apply Online - 16/05/2023
• Last Date for Fee Payment - 17/05/2023

Application Fee

For Post Code 02 to 10:

• There is a non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for each application.
• However, initially, all candidates have to uniformly pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees seven Hundred and Fifty only) per application as a processing fee.
• The Processing fee will be refunded only to candidates who appear in the written test, as under:
• Rs. 750/-: i.e. refund in full for candidates who are exempted from payment of Application Fee (women, SC / ST / PWBD, Ex-Servicemen).
• Rs. 500/-: i.e. after deducting the Application Fee in respect of all other candidates.

For Post Code 11 to 26:

• There is a non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for each application.
• However, initially, all candidates have to uniformly pay Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) per application as a processing fee.
• The Processing fee will be refunded only to candidates who appear in the written test, as under:
• Rs. 500/-: i.e. refund in full for candidates who are exempted from payment of Application Fee (women, SC / ST / PWBD, Ex-Servicemen).
• Rs. 400/-: i.e. after deducting the Application Fee in respect of all other candidates.

SDSC SHAR Technician Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Technical Assistant (Cinematography/ Photography) - First Class Diploma in Cinematography/ Photography from a recognised University /Institution.

2. Technical Assistant (Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering) - First Class Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognised University /Institution.

3. Technical Assistant (Electronics & Communication Engineering) - First Class Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.

4. Technical Assistant (Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering) - First Class Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.

5. Technical Assistant (Mechanical Engineering) - First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.

6. Technical Assistant (Computer Science) - First Class B.Sc. with Computer Science as main subject from a recognised University/ Institution.

7. Technical Assistant (Physics) - First Class B.Sc. with Physics as main and Mathematics & Chemistry as ancillary subjects from a recognised University/ Institution.

8. Technical Assistant (Physics) - First Class B.Sc. with Physics as main and Mathematics & Chemistry as ancillary subjects from a recognised University/ Institution.

9. Library Assistant ‘A’ - First Class Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Library & Information Science or equivalent from a recognised University/ Institution.

10. Technician ‘B’ Chemical - SSLC/SSC pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in any one of the following trades from NCVT a) Chemical b) Attendant Operator (Chemical) c) Instrument Mechanic (Chemical) d) Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical Plant) e) Laboratory Assistant (Chemical)

11. Technician ‘B’ Chemical - SSLC/SSC pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in any one of the following trades from NCVT a) Chemical b) Attendant Operator (Chemical) c) Instrument Mechanic (Chemical) d) Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical Plant) e) Laboratory Assistant (Chemical)

12. Technician ‘B’ Electrician - SSLC/ SSC pass + ITI/ NTC/NAC in Electrician Trade from NCVT

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
