OMC Electrician & Junior Accountant Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
1. Junior Accountant - Degree in Commerce from recognized University with Diploma in Computer Application/ PGDCA. |
2. Electrician- III - HSC with ITI in Electrician, lineman/ wireman Trade from recognized institute with valid workman permits “A” certificate issued by the Competent Authority, OR HSC with ITI in Electrician, lineman/ wireman Trade from recognized institute with minimum Lineman- MV (with Learner Permit for WorkmanHT) issued by Electrical Licensing Board, Odisha (ELBO). |
Age Limit: (As on 31.12.2021)
1. Junior Accountant - Not below 18 years and above 32 years. |
2. Electrician- III - Not below 18 years and above 32 years. |
The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary Details:
1. Junior Accountant - Pay Level-8 Rs. 29,200 to Rs.92,300/- |
2. Electrician- III - Pay Level-5 Rs. 21,700 to Rs.69,100 (02 extra increments at the time of entry into regular post) |
OMC Electrician & Junior Accountant Selection Process 2022:
OMC may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Application Fee/Exam Fee for OMC Electrician & Junior Accountant:
The candidate (except SC/ST/PwD & Departmental candidate) is required to pay a non- refundable and non-adjustable amount of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only for each post towards Application fee in Online Mode. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category, PwD candidates and Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.Note: The applicants shall pay the Application Fee as indicated in the Table Above through Online Payment Mode Only.
