Under this scheme, the Uttar Pradesh (UP) State Government will be distributing free laptops, tablets and smartphones to ITI, polytechnic, UG, PG, B.ED, BTC, UP Board & CBSE Students from technical, medical & nursing institutions. The state government will provide tablet/smartphone facility to 01 crore youth. Undergraduate, postgraduate, technical and diploma youth will be linked with this scheme.

Procedure to Register For UP Free Laptop / Smart Phone / Tablet Yojana.
Students can apply for Uttar Pradesh Laptop/Tablet Yojana on the official website www.upcmo.up.nic.in.
To register yourself under the scheme you have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- visit your respective college to enroll in the UP Free Laptop / Smart Phone / Tablet Yojana.
- The institution will then institute will provide the details of the eligible candidates on the official website.
- The authorities will login on this portal via their unique institute ID.
- The Institute will have to go ‘Add New Student’ tab.
- They will provide your details like name, category, course, etc. in it.
- Now they will enter the board and the seat number which belongs to you.
- The receipt number and date will be entered on the website.
Finally, the SmartPhone / Tablet will be provided to you.
