The Computer Based Test/Online Test will be held in 22 Cities* as mentioned in the ‘Online’ Application system. Candidates have to select preferred examination city (limited to three choices) from the given list of exam cities in the Online application form. However, NHPC reserves the right to cancel or add any Centre depending on the response of the candidates for that area/centre. Admission to the test centre will be on production of e-Admit Card which is to be downloaded only from our website by candidates.

How to Apply:-
I. Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail ID and to ensure that it is active during the entire recruitment process. Application sequence number, User ID, Password and all other important communication will be sent on the same registered e-mail ID (please ensure that email sent to this mailbox is not redirected to your junk/spam folder).
II. Candidates should take utmost care in furnishing/providing the correct details while filling-up the on-line application. YOU CAN EDIT THE INFORMATION BEFORE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION. Once the form is submitted, it can’t be edited.
III. The process for submitting the application is given below:-
- Step-I: Sign-up by filling-up Post Applied, Name, Mobile No. and E-mail ID. The candidates will receive Application Sequence No (User ID) & Password on their registered email ID.
- Step-II: Re-login and select the category and fill up the Personal Details, Qualification Details, upload relevant documents (photo/signature) and submit Fee online (if applicable) through net banking, debit cards or credit cards.
IV. Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn and fee once paid will neither be refunded nor adjusted.

NHPC Limited Recruitment 2021 Selection Process -
- Medium of Examination - English & Hindi
- Examination Duration - 3 Hrs (180 minutes)
- Total Marks - 200 Marks
Subjects For Sr. Medical Officer/JE (Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical) & Sr. Accountant (200 Questions): -
- Part-I consists of 140 MCQ of the concerned discipline.
- Part-II consists of 30 MCQ on General Awareness and
- Part-III of 30 MCQ on Reasoning
For Assistant Rajbhasha Officer Post (110 Questions):
- Part-I consists of 40 MCQ of the concerned discipline and 10 Descriptive Type questions.
- Part-II consists of 30 MCQ on General Awareness and
- Part-III of 30 MCQ on Reasoning
- Marking - For every correct answer of MCQ, one mark shall be awarded. For every wrong answer attempted by the candidates, negative marking of marks (i.e. 0.25 marks) will be deducted. All the descriptive type of questions will have 10 marks each without any negative marking. No marks will be awarded/deducted for un-attempted questions.
