Eligibility Criteria for EIL Vacancy 2021:

Educational Qualification: (As on 31.07.2021)

1. Technician (Maintenance- Mechanical) - Minimum Educational Qualification: ITI (Fitter) Post Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant post qualification experience in maintenance of various rotary equipments viz. pumps, compressors, fans, AHU , Steam Boilers etc.

2. Technician (Maintenance- Instrumentation) – Minimum Educational Qualification: ITI (Instrumentation) Post Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant post qualification experience in loop checking , calibration, trouble shooting and maintenance of field instruments etc

3. Technician (Maintenance- Electrical) –  Minimum Educational Qualification: ITI (Electrician) Post Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant post qualification experience in electrical maintenance of various equipments and panels.

4. Technician (Laboratory) – Minimum Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks Post Qualifications Experience: Minimum 1 year relevant post qualification experience in laboratory operation in Oil and Gas Industry

5. Plant Operator – Minimum Educational Qualification: B.SC. in Physics/Chemistry with minimum 60% marks or 3 years’ Diploma in Chemical/ Mechanical Engg. with minimum 65% marks Post Qualifications Experience: Minimum 1 year relevant post qualification experience in start-up & operation of multistage pumps, compressors, turbines, fired heaters, Columns, Reactors, Vessels & other process & Mechanical equipments.

STEP 1: Eligible candidates need to apply through on-line registration system on EIL website. To apply visit the career link in EIL website i.e. http://www.engineersindia.com

STEP 2: Read CAREFULLY all the instructions given on the website.

STEP 3: Fill in the online form with all the relevant and correct details.

STEP 4: The candidate before starting online registration should keep the properly scanned copies (readable form), of the following documents / certificates ready for uploading during registration of application:

a) Latest Passport size colour photograph in .jpg/.jpeg format of not more than 75 KB size

b) Signature in .jpg/.jpeg format of not more than 25 KB size

c) All qualifying certificate, all years/semester mark sheets and experience certificates of not more than 900 KB each in .jpg/.jpeg/.pdf format

d) Disability certificate (PwD), if applicable of not more than 500 KB each in .jpg/.jpeg/.pdf format

e) Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC- Non Creamy Layer)/EWS, if applicable, of not more than 500 KB each in .jpg/.jpeg/.pdf format

STEP 5: The candidates are not required to send the print out of the registered application form filled on line. They need to retain a copy of the printout of the application form which will be required at the time of Skill Test (for Skill Test carried out through modes other than Video Conferencing) if shortlisted.
